Central Android ROM Review: CyanogenMod 7 RC1 For Droid Incredible

ROM magazine this week, combines two staples Android - HTC Droid Incredible and CyanogenMod. These two go together like peanut butter and jelly - all doing a good thing better. And it's a great way to get some on your Gingerbread Dinc.

Android Central Forums super moderator, and self-proclaimed Entertainment VP Brett took the time to give us a run-down this time, and you can read about him after a pause. Thanks Brett!

When it comes to the device or HTC Android Droid Incredible, the sense of the user interface is one of the main reasons many people love him. It has many of the major distinguishing features and customization options (if you're seated), it is difficult to answer even consider flashing vanilla version of Android. After a few weeks, my owner Dinc (from OG Droid) I think it will never give up if I had to Sense

Gingerbread and was released by the team CyanogenMod, the first group of developers to build a strong and stable for the masses (before the OEM version, I might add). I wanted to try, but it was decided to keep for more than a few hours. In the past, I've never been a big fan of CyanogenMod ROMs because for some reason, never going to work properly on my Droid. Well, it was more than a month and I have not flashed anything but the latest nightlies and I'm running RC1 CM7. CM7 ROM is by far the. Faster and more functional than I shone my Dinc

Let me start this by saying that although this is piped to Dinc, almost all of what I am about to discuss can be said for almost any device, which is the gateway to the Official Team CyanogenMod. Do not worry if you're reading this review, but now is used in different devices, many (if not all) of these great features are available for other application-specific ports. So lets get started.

Much of CM7 differs from many other Rome is its customization options. You can customize many different things within the parameters of CyanogenMod and most of them with ease. You can change the power controls are on the notice below, change the lock screen with an alternative pre-loaded (including the one that seems inspired by Sens), let your touch wake of Dinc optical track and Like many other things.

Another standout feature is the ability CM7 change your themes through his own application called Theme Chooser. At first, when you open the program, you will notice three choices of themes to choose from. These themes include a stock version called "System", a version of the theme of cyanogen called "Cyanbread" and a slightly modified version of the stock named "Androidian. All it takes is a quick selection of the theme you want and you're done. No need to wipe the flash cache or something through the recovery when you change the overall look of your theme. Quick, easy and unlike anything I've ever seen.

Now when you pick up a flash ROM that still want to find one that works well without experiencing any delay, the processor overheating and has no problem with the restart of the slot machine. CM7 is no exception in this field with almost seamless transition between different applications without anything other than the CPU clock to overheat and possibly on the phone. It is able to compete with the best of them, without the rapid flight of the resources and battery power. Even when using sense I find some of overheating (without overclocking) and things within the application that causes occasional freeze / closing force. I'm not saying I have not encountered any lag or freezing applications, but it seems to happen less often when I was using ROM-based direction.

I can truly say that I am completely satisfied with this album and have not found any reason to switch to another disk. I used to flash a new album every few days, so this says a lot about CM7. If any of you ladies and gentlemen are willing to try something new, why not give the possibility to CyanogenMod 7. Give it a day full use and I can almost guarantee that you will not want to go back.

Oh and I almost forgot. I have a gift for all of you who took the time to read my first review Rome. You may notice a special icon, I put my button drawer app on my home screen. I did not create the image, of course, but I made some changes to to operate as a true icon. You'll need a pitcher who has similar characteristics to ADW Launcher EX or Pro, which will allow you to change the icons on your Home screen / dock looks like. I hope you guys and perhaps enjoyed this I will write another review in the near future.
